Enviro Infra Bags NTPC BESS Contracts For Two States

Enviro Infra Engineers Limited has informed the exchanges that it has received letters of award from NTPC Limited dated 30 March 2026 for the execution of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects in two states. The awards relate to installations at Tanda Super Thermal Power Station in Uttar Pradesh and Bongaigaon Thermal Power Station in Assam and were communicated through a formal filing to the National Stock Exchange and BSE. The company stated that the contracts were awarded by a domestic public sector entity. The disclosure followed requirements under the SEBI listing regulations.

The contracts have been awarded on an engineering, procurement and construction basis for the supply, installation and commissioning of battery energy storage equipment and ancillary systems and include comprehensive annual maintenance after successful performance testing. The filing specifies that the scope comprises supply, services and annual maintenance at the two thermal power stations and that there is no interest of the promoter, promoter group or group companies in the awarding entity. The company described the package as an EPC contract covering turnkey delivery, integration and testing. The documentation notes that the awards are domestic in nature and do not constitute related party transactions.

The EPC supply and services work is to be completed within 15 months from commencement and will be followed by comprehensive annual maintenance for 11 years after completion of the performance guarantee test. The company indicated that performance testing and the handover process will be undertaken in accordance with contractual timelines and quality assurance procedures. It further stated that the maintenance obligations will commence after successful completion of the performance guarantee test and that technical documentation and spare parts are included within the scope. The filing was signed by the company secretary and compliance officer.

The contract value is Rs 4057.1 million (mn) excluding goods and services tax and represents the conversion of the amount disclosed in crores into millions for clarity. Management noted that delivery and maintenance obligations will proceed in accordance with the terms of the EPC agreements.
