Ester Marks 40 Years With New Brand Identity

Ester Industries Limited, one of India’s leading manufacturers of polyester films, specialty polymers, and engineering plastics, has introduced a refreshed brand identity to commemorate 40 years of excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Established in 1985, Ester began with a vision to create a lasting presence in polyester chemistry at a time when India's industrial landscape was still evolving. What started as a focused ambition has grown into a globally recognised name in polyester manufacturing and specialty polymers.
The new identity includes a redesigned logo that honours the company’s legacy while reflecting its transformation and readiness for the future. More than a visual change, it marks Ester’s strategic shift toward innovation and sustainability, and a proactive role in shaping next-generation materials.
The design reflects Ester’s roots in polyester chemistry and its long-standing relationships across industries and geographies. It stands as a reminder of the collective journey towards progress and sustainability, with Ester dedicated to walking that path alongside its partners and customers.
The company’s renewed brand promise—Innovating Sustainable Solutions—marks the beginning of a bold new chapter.
“Our new brand identity marks a pivotal moment for Ester Industries,” said Mr Arvind Singhania, Chairman. “It represents our evolution from a solid foundation to a future-ready, specialty-driven company committed to pioneering high-performance materials and advancing global sustainability.”
In its early years, Ester focused on high-quality polyester films for packaging and industrial use. By the 1990s and early 2000s, it expanded into engineering plastics (later sold to Italy’s Radici Group) and specialty polyesters through investments in application-driven R&D. This evolution strengthened its role in FMCG packaging, textiles, automotive electronics, adhesives, and more.
