Factrika, an on-demand industrial workforce platform, has raised Rs 80.9 million in a seed funding round led by Info Edge to expand its technology platform, strengthen its team and scale operations across industrial clusters in India.

Founded in July 2024, Factrika aims to address workforce availability challenges faced by Indian factories through a real-time, skill-based and verified worker network. The platform connects manufacturers with workers based on skills and availability, enabling workforce deployment within two hours.

Indian factories face a daily worker shortage of 20-25%, driven by fragmented contractor-led staffing models. Factrika’s platform enables workers to digitally accept shifts, while managing attendance, payments and verified work records to support skill-based career growth.

The company currently has more than 10,000 registered workers across over 20 skill categories, with a 90%+ show rate. Its deployment hours are growing 50-70% month-on-month. Factrika works with companies including Lenskart, Munjal Kiriu, Asahi India Glass, Jubilant Foods, Epack Durables, PG Technoplast, Hanon Climate, Bidso and Talbros Auto Components.

The funding will be used to expand the company’s team, enhance technology capabilities and support cluster-based growth across industrial hubs, including Bhiwadi, Manesar, Bawal, Noida and Bahadurgarh. Factrika is targeting India's $23 billion manufacturing workforce opportunity through its platform-led approach.

Factrika was founded by Kshitij Puri and Gaurav Asthana. Kshitij Puri is a second-time founder and previously built ZipLoan, a fintech NBFC. He is an alumnus of UCLA Anderson and ICAI. Gaurav Asthana, an alumnus of BITS Pilani and IIM Ahmedabad, brings over two decades of experience across technology, operations and product roles.
