Fadnavis and AIIB Join Forces for Maharashtra's Water and Infra Projects

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met with Hun Kim, Vice-President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), to discuss key infrastructure projects in the state, including the Marathwada Water Grid and the Nar-Par Girna river linking project.

The meeting, held at the 'Ramgiri' residence, also involved representatives from the Korean Exim Bank and AFD, who explored potential funding opportunities for these vital initiatives. A detailed presentation was given, which received favourable feedback from the financial institutions.

Hun Kim confirmed his full commitment to providing financial support. During his visit, he also shared an unforgettable experience of spotting a tiger at the Umred Karhandla reserve, marking a memorable moment in his 25 years of visiting India.
