Faresin Industries has expanded its Full Electric range with the global debut of the Leader PF Full Electric 2.24 at Agritechnica 2025. The new 24-cubic-metre self-propelled mixer wagon builds on the 2.20 platform, adding a larger mixing tank tailored for large livestock farms seeking low-emission, high-performance feeding solutions.

The Leader PF 2.24 FE is designed as a fully electric machine with four independent motors: a 52 kW traction motor delivering speeds up to 20 km/h, a 52 kW motor for mixing, a 34 kW motor for the milling cutter and a 23 kW hydraulic services motor. Power is supplied by LFP batteries ranging from 91.3 kWh to 137 kWh, offering up to seven mixes per charge and supporting fast recharging. The system also regenerates energy during braking and deceleration.

Eliminating the diesel engine delivers zero fuel consumption, zero direct emissions and significant annual cost savings. When paired with renewable energy sources such as solar, wind or biogas, emissions reductions can reach up to 30 tonnes of CO2 per year compared with combustion-engine models. Reduced noise levels also contribute to improved animal welfare and operator comfort.

The machine retains all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering and three steering modes, with a 6.1-metre turning radius for superior manoeuvrability. Its dual-auger mixing tank, built in S355 steel with optional AISI 304 liners, ensures strength and long service life. Faresin augers, developed over five decades, offer a gentle, homogeneous cut that preserves fibre quality. The PF cab features a quiet, ergonomic layout with a 10-inch display, electro-proportional joystick, integrated weighing and electronic controls linked to Farm Manager Web, Web Feeding and AI Feeding systems.

The 2.24 FE is fully compatible with Faresin’s “Smart Feed Tech” ecosystem, enabling precision feeding, enhanced digestibility and AI-based individual animal management. The system positions the Full Electric and ICE Leader ranges among the most advanced feeding tools available to livestock farmers.
