Genesys wins Rs 150 million 3D mapping contract for Pune outskirts
The contract builds on Genesys’s broader mission to bring high-precision mapping tools to India's urban transformation. “With 67 per cent of urban India still lacking structured development plans, there’s an urgent need to scale up geospatial integration,” said Sajid Malik, Chairman and MD of Genesys.
Established in 1995 and based in Mumbai, Genesys is a leader in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geospatial engineering. The company offers 3D Digital Twin platforms, mapping APIs, ADAS technologies, and geospatial survey services, backed by over 2,000 professionals.
Its solutions, powered by AI, machine learning, and IoT, cater to sectors like urban infrastructure, telecom, utilities, and environmental monitoring. Genesys’s pan-India sensor network supports projects such as smart city development, utility mapping, and disaster risk assessments.
This new order cements its position as a key player in India’s digital infrastructure push, as demand for high-resolution spatial data grows with urban sprawl.
