Gentari Green Mobility India and Shell India have entered into a strategic roaming partnership aimed at improving electric vehicle (EV) charging accessibility across the country. Starting from 10 July, users of the Gentari Go app will be able to access Shell Recharge charging stations, while Shell Recharge users will also gain access to Gentari’s charging network, covering over 450 chargers.

This collaboration is designed to expand the EV charging infrastructure and improve service quality in India by enabling interoperability between the two platforms. Gentari Go already operates more than 3,000 charging points across India and over 5,000 across India, Malaysia, and Thailand. The partnership with Shell Recharge will further expand this network by incorporating Shell’s charging infrastructure in key Indian cities.

Users will benefit from real-time charger availability and technical details through the Gentari Go app, ensuring a seamless and reliable charging experience. The integration focuses on strengthening EV connectivity across high-demand urban areas, particularly in western and southern India, and aligns with Gentari’s broader clean mobility strategy.

The collaboration is also expected to support India’s transition to low-carbon mobility by combining Gentari’s scalable, technology-driven solutions with Shell’s well-positioned locations. It aims to simplify access to EV charging and enhance customer convenience.

As part of the agreement, Shell chargers integrated with the Gentari Go app will be compatible with all EV types and located at Shell fuel stations, which provide additional amenities such as food, beverages, and convenience stores—further enhancing user experience. The partnership is positioned as a significant step toward encouraging EV adoption and promoting sustainable growth in India’s electric mobility sector.
