Haryana Chief Minister Launches Rs 1,130 Million Projects In Gohana
Key projects included the construction of a sports stadium and the development of a jogging track at Bhagwan Parshuram Heritage Park linking Sonipat Chungi to Panipat Chungi. Plans also covered a multi-storey parking facility, an expansion of municipal limits and the establishment of Shiv Dham on Sonipat Road. These measures were presented as steps to improve civic amenities, provide recreational space and manage urban growth.
The government announced infrastructure works including a 33 kV substation, a tourism resort and a Transport Nagar under HSVP. Authorities also said plots would be allotted to social organisations and that several government buildings would be reconstructed, among them the irrigation office, Shakti Bhawan and the district rest house. Health infrastructure was addressed through a proposal to establish a cardiac catheterisation laboratory at Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College.
The Chief Minister announced an additional allocation of Rs 50 million (mn) for village development in the constituency and said state resources would be directed to school repairs, drinking water supply, sewerage upgrades and road construction and repair. Officials indicated the package sought to ensure balanced and inclusive development across Haryana with an emphasis on strengthening public services and urban infrastructure. Implementation details and timelines were said to be released by the relevant departments in due course.
