Hero MotoCorp Enters France, Expands Global Presence to 52 Nations

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially entered the French market through a distribution partnership with GD France, marking its presence in 52 countries. The launch event was held at the UTAC Mortefontaine proving ground near Paris and showcased the company’s Euro 5+ range led by the Hunk 440.

Building on its success in Italy, Spain, and the UK, this expansion strengthens Hero’s footprint in Europe. The Hunk 440, designed for the A2 performance category, offers 27 bhp of power and 36 Nm torque, blending style, power, and practicality for new-age riders.

Sanjay Bhan, Executive Vice President, Hero MotoCorp, said the entry into France represents a milestone in the company’s global growth journey, while Ghislain Guiot, CEO of GD France, highlighted the collaboration’s focus on customer-centric service.

Hero MotoCorp plans to establish over 30 outlets initially, expanding to more than 50 by 2026. With a five-year warranty offer and premium features like ABS, USD forks, and digital displays, the Hunk 440 aims to redefine riding in France.
