Hettich Unveils Revamped Experience Centre in Kolkata

Hettich has opened a revamped Experience Centre in Kolkata, reinforcing its focus on lifestyle driven interiors. The inauguration on 17 February 2026 was carried out jointly by Andre Eckholt, Managing Director for India, SAARC, Middle East and Africa, and Saroj Poddar, Chairman of Adventz Group and Hettich India. The company described the centre as an immersive touchpoint where form, function and innovation converge to translate its design philosophy into practical customer experiences.

The Kolkata Experience Centre showcases Hettich's comprehensive portfolio of award winning interior solutions, including advanced German furniture fittings, architectural door hardware, furniture lighting and built in kitchen appliances. It has been designed to deliver a cohesive and immersive customer journey that reflects the brand's emphasis on creativity and design excellence. The centre was presented as a practical laboratory for architects and designers to explore integrated solutions that combine aesthetics with engineered durability.

In addition to experiential showcases, the centre offers value added services such as free design support and doorstep consultations to ensure tailored guidance for homeowners, architects and designers. These services aim to support project planning, specification and implementation across residential and commercial spaces. The opening also underlines Hettich's intent to strengthen engagement with regional customers and professionals by providing a local facility to translate design ideas into tangible outcomes.

Hettich is a 138-year-old family owned German lifestyle brand and is described as one of the world's largest manufacturers of furniture fittings, reporting a global turnover exceeding 1.5 billion euros. The turnover figure is referenced as 1.5 bn euros in corporate disclosures. The company noted that it entered the Indian market at the dawn of the new millennium and celebrates 25 years of operations in India under the theme Built to Lead.
