Hilton Metal Forging has received RITES certification to manufacture Vande Bharat and LHB wheelsets, becoming the first private MSME to do so under the Make-in-India initiative. The approval enables Hilton to begin commercial supply, targeting over 3,000 wheelsets in FY26 and scaling up to 12,000 in FY27. With a capacity of 20,000 wheelsets annually, Hilton aims to play a key role in Indian Railways’ modernisation drive, including the upgrade of 40,000 coaches.
