Hyundai India Logs 58,701 Sales in May 2025

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported total monthly sales of 58,701 units in May 2025. The figure includes domestic sales of 43,861 units and export sales of 14,840 units.

The company noted that availability of certain key models was affected due to its scheduled biannual maintenance shutdown at the Chennai plant during the month.

Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, commented, “Despite the planned maintenance closure, HMIL recorded stable sales in May. Our export performance continues to show consistent growth, reinforcing our 'Make in India, Made for the World' philosophy.”

He added that the company remains optimistic about demand recovery in both domestic and international markets, supported by improving macroeconomic conditions and easing geopolitical uncertainties.
