IEMI 2026 to Strengthen India’s Electronics Manufacturing Ecosystem

India’s growing role as a global electronics manufacturing hub will be in focus at Integrated Electronics Manufacturing & Interconnections (IEMI) 2026, the flagship industry platform of the Global Electronics Association. The two-day event will bring together over 1,500 business delegates from India and more than 100 international participants from Southeast Asia, Japan, the Middle East & Africa, Europe, the UK and the USA.

IEMI 2026 is positioned as a high-impact forum aimed at strengthening manufacturing partnerships, enhancing supply-chain resilience and advancing quality-led growth across the electronics value chain. The platform will convene OEMs, EMS companies, PCB manufacturers, cable and wire harness specialists, semiconductor players and equipment suppliers, with engagement spanning consumer electronics, electric vehicles, defence and aerospace, and high-reliability manufacturing.

The programme will feature sector-focused forums supported by key industry and government bodies, including defence and aerospace, consumer and mobile electronics, India–ASEAN electric vehicles and defence supply-chain resilience. Business engagement will remain central, with customised B2B matchmaking, a focused exhibition, an electronics suppliers’ meet, member awards and curated networking sessions.

The agenda includes keynote addresses by Indian and global industry leaders, technical presentations on advanced electronic packaging, discussions on emerging manufacturing priorities, a global wire harness competition and the release of a consumer electronics and mobile manufacturing industry report. The event will also outline a collaborative initiative with the Directorate General of Quality Assurance to strengthen defence electronics frameworks, aligned with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat mission.
