IKS Health Acquihires ThinkDTM To Expand Patient Access Team

IKS Health (IKS) has completed an acquihire of ThinkDTM, an AI-native product, strategy and digital services company, in a move to expand its patient access capabilities. The transaction, announced on 31 March 2026, brings ThinkDTM founder Tij Bedi into the company as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Patient Access and Innovation, and integrates his team of AI technology experts into IKS. The addition is intended to accelerate the firm’s ability to implement AI-driven solutions across patient access functions.

Bedi and his colleagues will lead the strategic expansion, scaling and transformation of patient scheduling, registration, demographic capture, insurance eligibility verification and prior authorisations. The team will focus on building and scaling differentiated patient access solutions, strengthening platform capabilities and driving forward-looking innovation that improves outcomes for healthcare providers and those they serve. The work will include integrating advanced automation and machine learning into workflows to reduce administrative burdens and speed patient throughput.

IKS will pursue strategic partnerships to leverage the novel applications of AI and product design expertise to create differentiated market opportunities. Company leadership emphasised that the new team enhances capabilities in agentic AI and human-in-the-loop approaches, which the firm sees as central to continued growth in revenue optimisation and operational performance. The integration is expected to support scalable deployment of solutions across client networks.

Founded in 2006, IKS operates a Care Enablement platform that integrates agentic AI workflows with human expertise to create smarter, more accurate operations, better clinical and financial outcomes, and sustainable growth across the care journey. The company has received recognition from industry surveys and awards for its performance in AI-driven revenue cycle management and client satisfaction and has been cited by technology partners for augmenting human expertise with AI. IKS serves large health systems, physician groups and speciality practices across the United States.
