India’s largest auto cargo terminal inaugurated

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurated India’s largest automobile cargo terminal at Maruti Suzuki’s Manesar plant. Developed under the Gati Shakti initiative, the terminal is linked to Patli railway station via a 10-km rail spur forming part of the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor. Built at a cost of Rs.8 billion, the facility can load 4.5 lakh vehicles annually. Vaishnaw highlighted the Indian Railways' transformation and announced MEMU coach upgrades, new Amrit Bharat trains, and Tatkal reforms.
