As the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) completes three years, both governments continue to address trade challenges through high-level meetings and technical discussions. The Joint Committee, established to oversee CEPA's implementation, has convened twice, most recently in October 2024. The Trade in Goods Committee has also held multiple meetings to resolve bilateral trade issues.
In a spirit of mutual cooperation, both nations have operationalised various sub-committees focusing on trade in services, rules of origin, customs procedures, and trade facilitation. Additionally, the inauguration of Bharat Mart in Dubai by the Indian Prime Minister is set to serve as a one-stop shop for Indian manufacturers, enhancing exports and expanding global market access.
