INOX Air Products To Supply UHP Nitrogen For Grew’s 3 GW Plant
In its statement, INOXAP said it will invest in and build a dedicated pipeline network from its existing Air Separation Unit in Narmadapuram to ensure reliable, continuous nitrogen supply. The announcement follows a similar arrangement for an onsite gas plant serving Premier Energies.
The UHP nitrogen supply will support the precision manufacturing needs of Grew Energy’s solar PV cell production lines. INOXAP said the partnership not only meets Grew’s high-purity gas requirements but also contributes to expanding industrial infrastructure in the region. The solar facility is expected to begin operations in early 2026, aligned with Grew’s commissioning timeline. Narmadapuram has attracted several solar manufacturers, driven by Madhya Pradesh’s incentives on land, electricity and tax benefits.

He added that such partnerships aid national development while supporting regional industrial growth.

Previous Collaborations Earlier in 2025, INOXAP signed a 20-year agreement with Premier Energies to install and commission a cryogenic Air Separation Unit supplying 7,000 Nm³/h of 5N-grade gaseous nitrogen and 250 Nm³/h of 6N-grade gaseous oxygen, plus additional liquid products, for its Naidupeta solar cell facility in Andhra Pradesh. The unit is expected to be commissioned next year.
In May, the company agreed to procure 75 MW of hybrid renewable energy from Serentica Renewables through its Inter-State Transmission System project, enabling competitive tariffs across multiple INOXAP sites in four states.
INOXAP has also partnered with First Solar, signing a 20-year agreement to design, install and operate a cryogenic nitrogen generator for its new manufacturing unit in Pillaipakkam, Tamil Nadu. The generator will have a capacity of 2,400 Nm³/h, supplying high-purity nitrogen and other gases for production.
