Jammu and Kashmir to build 646 rural roads under PMGSY-IV

Jammu and Kashmir will construct 646 rural roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-IV (PMGSY-IV) to improve connectivity in remote areas. The projects will focus on strengthening last-mile road access, supporting rural communities and improving connectivity to essential services. The initiative is expected to enhance mobility, promote economic development and create better transport links across villages and underserved regions of the Union Territory.
