Embassy Developments Limited (EDL) said the Karnataka High Court set aside the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) order directing resumption of about 78 acres at Kadugodi Industrial Area, Bengaluru, held by Embassy East Business Park Limited (EEBPL), a wholly owned subsidiary. The KIADB resumption proceedings have been set aside and EEBPL remains in possession of the parcel. The company said the Kadugodi land is central to its East Bengaluru development plans.

The order enables EEBPL to progress development of its business park without the disruption implied by the earlier notice. The company said it will proceed with construction and leasing in line with approvals. No immediate alterations to capital allocation were indicated in the release.

The judgement follows a favourable order on four May 2026, when the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) quashed insolvency proceedings against EDL. Together the rulings reduce legal uncertainty and allow management to focus on operations.

Managing director Aditya Virwani said the order affirmed EEBPL’s lawful rights and allows the company to continue development. He added that the firm remained committed to transparency, governance and compliance.

The formal signed copy of the Karnataka High Court order is awaited and the company has made disclosures as required by regulators. The company also reaffirmed that it will engage with stakeholders as matters progress and will comply with any further judicial or statutory directions while advancing project milestones.
