KiddeFenwal Unveils NATURA Micro for Compact Asset Fire Safety

KiddeFenwal has recently launched NATURA Micro, expanding its inert gas fire suppression portfolio with a compact, object-level solution designed to protect high-value, small-sized commercial and industrial assets. Introduced under the Kidde Fire Systems brand, the system delivers rapid, zero-residue fire suppression while remaining eco-friendly and low maintenance.

The launch coincided with the unveiling of enhancements to the NATURA total flood system, including sound- and vibration-dampening acoustic nozzles for sensitive environments, a faster refill programme reducing system re-arming time to a single day, and reduced agent requirements to lower ownership costs.

NATURA systems detect incipient-stage fires early and suppress them by quickly reducing oxygen levels, preventing combustion without water damage or residue. The systems feature simplified installation through thin-walled piping, smaller venting needs, test activation without agent release and quick-connect couplings.

NATURA Micro extends these benefits to enclosed assets such as server racks, power distribution units and high-voltage cabinets, addressing rising fire risks linked to data centre expansion and increased lithium-ion battery adoption. The NATURA range is certified by leading global safety and compliance bodies, reinforcing its suitability for critical infrastructure protection.
