Komatireddy launches infrastructure projects at Mahatma Gandhi University
Minister Komatireddy further enriched the university's resources by donating books valued at Rs 1 million from the Komatireddy Pratheek Foundation to the university library. He was joined by Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veerasham, who presided over the event.
Addressing the students, Minister Komatireddy invoked Dr APJ Abdul Kalam's vision, encouraging students to innovate and address societal challenges. He committed to championing the university's needs within the State cabinet, with a focus on issues such as job security, program funding, and establishing a Skill Development Centre on campus.
Vice Chancellor Professor Khaja Althaf Hussain proposed converting self-financed courses to state-funded ones, securing permanent faculty positions, and launching new academic programs and a skill development centre to prepare students for future career paths.
