KP Green Wins Rs 8.19 Billion BSNL 4G Infrastructure Orders
The orders are split across two major clusters. Cluster C, covering Maharashtra and Goa, carries an order value of Rs 4.83 billion, while Cluster J, spanning Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, is valued at Rs 3.36 billion. These regions include both high-density markets and geographically challenging terrains, highlighting the company’s ability to execute complex projects across diverse conditions.
Under the advance work orders, KP Green Engineering will undertake a comprehensive scope that includes the supply and erection of ground-based towers, acting as an infrastructure-as-a-service provider for the supply and installation of allied telecom infrastructure, and operation and maintenance of the sites for an initial five-year period, extendable by a further five years. All works will be executed in line with BSNL’s technical specifications and requirements for the 4G Saturation Project/BOP-BIP.
The company said the mandate significantly enhances its executable order book, strengthens its presence in the telecom infrastructure and EPC segment, and validates its expertise in delivering large-scale, government-backed projects. The development aligns with KP Green Engineering’s long-term strategy to expand participation in national infrastructure programmes, particularly in telecom and digital connectivity.
BSNL, a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Communications, plays a key role in expanding telecom services across urban, rural and remote areas. It is a principal implementing agency for initiatives such as the 4G Saturation Project, which aims to ensure universal digital access across India.
