LANXESS Showcases Sustainable Additives at Rosefield Conference

Speciality chemicals company LANXESS is presenting its portfolio of high-performance solutions for the lubricants and fuels industry at the 3rd Rosefield Conference for Lubricants and Fuels, held on 12–13 November 2025 at NESCO, Goregaon, Mumbai.
The company is exhibiting at Booth 31 in Hall C, where visitors can explore the latest innovations from the Lubricant Additives Business (LAB) and engage with its technical team.
A key highlight is the more sustainable variant of its established lubricant additive, Additin RC 2515. This new version achieves a 34 per cent reduction in product carbon footprint, with more than 80 per cent of its raw materials sourced sustainably and verified under the ISCC PLUS certification. The additive also carries the LANXESS Scopeblue label, awarded to products containing at least 50 per cent recycled or bio-based content and offering a significantly lower carbon footprint.
With this launch, LANXESS expands its portfolio of certified sustainable additives to meet rising demand for climate-friendly solutions.

The company’s wider offering includes additives, additive systems, synthetic base fluids and ready-to-use lubricants used across automotive, mechanical engineering, metalworking, shipbuilding and aviation sectors. These solutions help reduce friction, minimise wear, prevent corrosion and improve power transmission, thereby extending machine life.
