LANXESS Showcases Sustainable Additives Portfolio at 3rd Rosefield Conference

LANXESS presented its expanded range of additives for the lubricants and fuels industry at the 3rd Rosefield Conference in Mumbai. The company unveiled a more sustainable variant of its established lubricant additive, Additin RC 2515, which delivers a 34 per cent reduction in product carbon footprint. Over 80 per cent of its raw materials are sourced sustainably and certified under the ISCC PLUS standard. The additive also carries the LANXESS Scopeblue label, which identifies products made with at least 50 per cent recycled or bio-based content and a significantly lower carbon footprint.

The company showcased additives and additive systems, synthetic base fluids, and ready-to-use lubricants used across automotive, mechanical engineering, metal processing, shipbuilding, and aviation sectors. These formulations are designed to reduce friction and wear, protect against corrosion, and ensure efficient power transmission, thereby extending machinery service life.

He reaffirmed LANXESS’s goal of supporting customers in manufacturing products in a more climate-responsible manner.
