Lemon Tree Hotels Limited (Lemon Tree Hotels) reported a record year of portfolio expansion in the fiscal year 2025–26, adding 56 new signings and opening 20 hotels as it accelerated an asset-light growth strategy. The company expanded its portfolio to 269 hotels, with 131 in operation and a pipeline of 138 properties, and described the momentum as a transition towards disciplined, partner-aligned scaling. The performance was presented as reinforcing the group’s position in the mid-priced hotel segment and enabling faster market reach.

More than 130 hotels are now operational and the group serves over 11,000 keys across more than 80 destinations, enabling a capital-efficient approach to growth while preserving operational consistency. Expansion priorities focused on major urban centres, tier two and tier three cities, and emerging leisure circuits to capture varied travel occasions. New locations included pilgrimage destinations such as Tirupati, Ayodhya and Somnath, leisure markets like Malshej Ghat, Khurpatal and Barog, and industrial hubs including Bhilai, Rudrapur and Mhow.

The development pipeline remained diversified across the brand architecture with the core Lemon Tree Hotels brand contributing 27 signings, Lemon Tree Premier adding nine signings and the Keys portfolio contributing 18 signings. Selective expansions under Aurika Hotels and Resorts and Lemon Tree Resort illustrated a calibrated move into upscale and leisure-led destinations. Operational execution converted a substantial portion of the pipeline, with the company opening 20 hotels during the year, of which Lemon Tree Hotels accounted for 12, Lemon Tree Premier and Keys Lite contributed three openings each and Keys Select added two.

This sustained expansion underlines the company’s ability to scale efficiently while maintaining brand integrity and operational rigour, supported by clear pipeline visibility and partner alignment. With a diversified brand portfolio and a proven asset-light model, Lemon Tree Hotels is positioned to pursue consistent long-term growth across commercial, leisure and spiritual travel corridors. The company indicated that continued focus will be on disciplined signings, selective execution and strengthening presence in under-served markets to capture evolving demand.
