Lemon Tree Hotels Limited (Lemon Tree Hotels) has signed a licence agreement to open Lemon Tree Hotel, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, and the property will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited (Carnation Hotels), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. The hotel will feature 63 well appointed rooms, a restaurant, a banquet hall, a meeting room, a spa, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. The asset expands the group's branded presence in Telangana and provides new inventory for business and leisure travellers.

Hyderabad is a major technology, pharmaceutical and infrastructure hub in India and continues to attract corporate, MICE and leisure demand. Rajendranagar benefits from an evolving commercial landscape and proximity to key transit points, which makes it an attractive micro market for branded hospitality development. The site selection aligns with urban growth patterns and ongoing infrastructure investment in the region.

The hotel is located about 22 km from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, with an estimated road time of around 32 minutes, and about 16 km from Shamshabad Railway Station, or approximately 30 minutes by road, ensuring convenient connectivity for domestic and interstate travellers. These attributes support both short stay corporate guests and event driven occupancy from weddings and conferences. The physical offering and location are expected to enhance distribution across the group's sales and corporate channels.

Lemon Tree Hotels indicated that Hyderabad remains a high growth market and that the signing reflects a strategy to strengthen presence in key urban centres while addressing demand in emerging city micro markets. The company operates seven distinct brands and currently manages more than 120 hotels across more than 80 cities, with a pipeline of over 130 upcoming properties and a total portfolio of more than 260 properties operational or planned. Since opening its first 49 room hotel in 2004, the group has continued to expand its managed portfolio and to focus on reliable comfort and consistent service quality.
