Lemon Tree Signs New Hotel in Dehradun

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of its latest property—Lemon Tree Hotel, Mohkampur, Dehradun. The hotel will be operated by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited.
The upcoming hotel will offer 98 well-appointed rooms along with a restaurant, lounge, conference room, swimming pool, fitness centre, and a range of recreational facilities. Located within the Mall of Dehradun—one of the city’s premier lifestyle and retail destinations—the property will provide guests with direct access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options, making it ideal for both business and leisure travellers.
The hotel is situated approximately 18 km from Jolly Grant Airport and about 9 km from Dehradun Railway Station. It is well connected by public and private road transport.
Dehradun, nestled in the scenic Doon Valley at the foothills of the Himalayas, is bordered by the Song River to the east and the Asan River to the west. Known for its picturesque landscape, moderate climate, and historical significance, the city serves as the capital of Uttarakhand and is a major hub for education and military training. It hosts renowned institutions such as The Doon School, Welham Boys' and Girls' Schools, the Indian Military Academy, Forest Research Institute, and the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing.
Dehradun is also recognised for its local produce, particularly Basmati rice and bakery goods, and continues to attract tourists with its proximity to Mussoorie and other hill stations.
