Lohia Auto Launches Youdha EV Brand Targets 3 Lakh Sales by 2027

Lohia Auto announced the launch of its EV brand 'Youdha', as part of its Rs 20-crore expansion plans. The company revealed its aim to manufacture and sell 0.3 million electric vehicles under the brand by 2027. The initial product portfolio of 'Youdha' includes electric three-wheelers for both passenger and cargo segments.

With this new range, 'Youdha' intends to meet the diverse needs of the electric three-wheeler market, according to Lohia Auto.

Ayush Lohia, CEO of 'Youdha', stated that the brand was not just about creating electric three-wheelers but about empowering India’s real warriors. He emphasised that the mission was to honour individuals who work tirelessly for their families, achieve their dreams, and move forward with unwavering determination.

The E5 passenger three-wheeler, designed for urban and semi-urban commuting, focuses on space and efficiency, while the E5 cargo model offers a sustainable and reliable solution for logistics, the company explained.

The ex-showroom price of the E3 passenger electric three-wheeler, equipped with a 10-kW battery that offers a range of up to 160 kilometres on a single charge, starts at Rs 0.38 million, Lohia Auto added.
