Engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced that it has won a substantial order from the state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). The order, categorised by L&T as 'large', signifies a contract value ranging between Rs 25-50 billion.
In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), L&T's Hydrocarbon vertical (L&T Energy) disclosed that the order pertains to the Daman Upside Development Project-Wellhead Platforms & Pipelines (DUDP-WP) off the west coast of India. The project scope includes the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of four wellhead platforms, a 140-km pipeline, and associated topside modifications at the Tapti Daman block in Western offshore locations. This development illustrates L&T's on-going involvement in the hydrocarbon sector, reinforcing its position in delivering solutions for offshore projects.
