Madhav Infra Secures 73.15 MW PPAs Under PM-KUSUM
Under the nine PPAs, Madhav Infra Projects will deliver a combined operational capacity of 73.15 MW and assume responsibility for project construction, operation and maintenance over the contract term. The projects form part of a wider national drive to decentralise generation and to provide stable income streams for stakeholders through contracted tariffs. The contracts specify the authorised framework for grid integration and local dispatch.
The supply arrangements set approved tariffs ranging from Rs two point seven one per kWh to Rs two point seven three per kWh for a PPA duration of 25 years, ensuring long term revenue visibility for the developer. The tariff band reflects competitively bid rates within the scheme guidelines and is intended to support viability for distributed solar assets feeding into rural feeders. The PPA structure locks in the commercial terms and allocates operational responsibilities between the parties.
The award of these agreements reinforces Madhav Infra Projects' position in the distributed solar segment and contributes to incremental renewable capacity in the state without requiring additional centralised infrastructure. Implementation of the projects is expected to advance feeder level energy security and to facilitate integration of solar generation at the distribution level. The company will now proceed to detailed project planning and execution in line with the contractual milestones set by the utility.
