Maharashtra Signs Rs 14.5 Trillion MoUs at WEF
Announcing the developments, the state government said the agreements span multiple sectors and reflect strong global confidence in Maharashtra’s consumer markets, infrastructure preparedness and long-term growth fundamentals.
Soon after inaugurating the state pavilion, Devendra Fadnavis said Maharashtra is receiving an encouraging response from investors. He added that the development of the proposed ‘third Mumbai’, being undertaken by the state government, is also attracting significant interest.
Over the course of the day, the chief minister held several business-to-government meetings with global companies operating across consumer goods, beverages, hospitality, logistics, urban development, green steel and digital infrastructure. These included discussions with firms such as Coca-Cola, Antora Energy and Brookfield.
He was accompanied by the Minister for Industries, Uday Samant, along with senior state government officials during the meetings.
