Maruti Opens 5,500th Car Service Touchpoint

Maruti Suzuki India has announced the inauguration of its 5,500th service touchpoint, located in Udaipur. The company, which serviced over 27 million vehicles in FY25—its highest ever in a financial year—is targeting the addition of around 500 more service centres during FY26.
With service facilities now spanning 2,764 cities, Maruti added 460 new touchpoints in FY25, averaging more than one new outlet daily. The current network includes approximately 40,000 service bays, capable of handling 30 million vehicles annually, according to the carmaker.
Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India, stated, “Availability of convenient and reliable service workshops is a key consideration for car buyers. With the support of our dealer partners, we have reached 5,500 service touchpoints across 2,764 cities.”
He further noted that 91 new service touchpoints have already been set up in the current financial year.
Maruti sells cars through its Arena and Nexa showrooms. Arena includes models like the Alto K10, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Brezza, and Ertiga, while Nexa features the Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, and Invicto. However, all models, regardless of sales channel, can be serviced at any Maruti service touchpoint.
