MCGM Floats Rs 4.95 Bn Tender to Redevelop Lower Parel Facilities

The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has invited tenders for the redevelopment of several civic facilities at the Asphalt Plant Compound in Lower Parel, on an EPC turnkey basis. The project is valued at Rs 4.95 Bn.

The scope includes redevelopment of the Vigilance Office, the Office of the Chief Engineer (Road & Transport), and the Material Testing Laboratory. The proposed work will take place on land bearing CS No. 1629, located at S.K. Ahire Marg in G/South Ward.

The project entails comprehensive planning, design, and construction of a modern facility featuring underground parking with a multi-level electro-mechanical robotic car parking system. It also includes MEP services, interior finishing, Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS), advanced security installations, landscaping, and maintenance of the parking system. Provision of transit accommodations for current municipal offices is also part of the scope.
