Modern College Inaugurates Phase Two Campus Road Supported By HiKOKI
The HiKOKI delegation included Rajan Batra, director of sales, Harsha Kumar, assistant general manager for supply chain management, and Ravi Atkare, business manager. The event was chaired by Fita Pfinyu, a fifth semester BA student, and featured a project briefing by Pelee Hekha, managing director of Modern College. Hekha thanked HiKOKI for funding both Phase one and Phase two of the two and a half kilometre campus road and said the thoroughfare links critical sectors of the campus and eases daily transit for the student body. A student representative also outlined perspectives on the practical benefits of the completed roadway.
Rajan Batra outlined HiKOKI's global footprint and operational presence in India and described the company corporate social responsibility philosophy as beyond just business. He highlighted a three year partnership with Modern College and announced that HiKOKI will fund and initiate the third phase of the campus road project while expanding its CSR footprint annually. Harsha Kumar encouraged students to pursue higher education with confidence and an open mindset and reiterated HiKOKI's commitment to empowering youth through educational infrastructure development. College officials said the company support has accelerated completion timelines and enhanced campus connectivity.
The inaugural programme also featured cultural performances by first semester BA students and a presentation by Ameka Shohe. Organisers said the activities celebrated local talent and community spirit. The college and HiKOKI signalled continued collaboration to improve campus facilities and student welfare.
