The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has acknowledged the significant contributions made by MSME entrepreneurs and aims to motivate and encourage them by presenting National Awards for outstanding performance. Currently, there are 35 National Awards offered to MSMEs across various categories. Special provisions have been made to recognize MSMEs led by women entrepreneurs, those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), and entrepreneurs from the North Eastern Region.

Under this scheme, selected MSMEs are honored with a trophy and certificate, along with a cash award of Rs 3 lakh for the First Prize, Rs 2 lakh for the Second Prize, and Rs 1 lakh for the Third Prize.

Applications for the 2024 National Awards are being accepted from April 14, 2025, to May 20, 2025, through the National Award portal (https://dashboard.msme.gov.in/na/Ent_NA_Admin/Ent_index.aspx). Additionally, interested MSMEs have the option to submit their applications via the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal of the Ministry of Home Affairs (https://awards.gov.in/).
