Naidu appoints TD, Jana Sena, and BJP leaders to key corporation posts
Naidu prioritised loyal grassroots TD workers for these appointments, rewarding those who have significantly contributed to the party’s growth. The new list includes several young leaders, with 11 TD cluster in-charges and 6 unit in-charges being appointed to chairperson roles.
Among the BJP leaders, State Chief Spokesperson Lanka Dinakar was appointed chairman of the 20-Point Formula Panel. Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader Tammireddi Sivasankar was named chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Corporation (APMSME DC).
Key appointments for TD members include Abdul Aziz as Chairman of the Wakf Board, Animini Ravi Naidu as head of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP), Battula Tatayya Babu as head of the Andhra Pradesh Housing Board, and Vajja Babu Rao as Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Trade Promotion Corporation Ltd (APTPC).
Other TD leaders who received key positions include Nukasani Balaji, who will chair the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation, and Konakalla Narayana, named Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC), along with PS Muniratnam as Vice Chairman.
Peela Govinda Satyanarayana was named Chairman of AP Urban Finance & Infrastructure Development Corporation, while Pilli Manikyala Rao will lead the Leather Industries Development Corporation. Pithala Sujatha has been appointed Chairperson of the Andhra Pradesh State Consumer Protection Council.
Additional TD appointees include Manne Subba Reddy for the AP State Seeds Development Corporation, Mantena Rama Raju for Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), and Nandam Abaddhayya for AP Padmashali Welfare and Development Corporation. Boragam Srinivasulu was appointed Chairman of the AP Scheduled Tribes Cooperative Finance Corporation, Damacherla Sathya will head the AP Maritime Board, Deepak Reddy will lead SEEDAP, and Karrothu Bangarraju will oversee AP Markfed.
