Naidu To Launch Rs 567.6 Million Industrial Projects In Chittoor
Speaking to the media on Monday, District Collector Sumit Kumar said the initiatives, launched as part of the 30th Partnership Summit 2025, aim to strengthen micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) development across the State. The projects will be virtually launched by the Chief Minister from Prakasam district.
Spread across 116 acres, the new projects are designed to attract local entrepreneurs, create employment, and boost the district’s industrial ecosystem. Among the key initiatives is the MSME Industrial Park at Venkatapuram, to be inaugurated on 68 acres with an investment of Rs 143 million.
Additionally, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Flatted Factory Complex at Pandarlapalli in Kuppam, set up on five acres at a cost of Rs 156.6 million.
Two more MSME Parks are also on the agenda:
One at Chadalla village in Punganur mandal, spread over 21.8 acres with an investment of Rs 100 million.
Another at Mangadu village in Nagari mandal, covering 20 acres, to be developed at Rs 173 million.
Collector Sumit Kumar noted that these developments would position Chittoor as a regional hub for small-scale industries, fostering balanced economic growth and entrepreneurial development across southern Andhra Pradesh.
