NBCC (India) Limited has secured orders worth Rs 7,752.7 million (mn) from the Delhi Development Authority for redevelopment of staff quarters at Old Rajinder Nagar and the Safdarjung Development Area in New Delhi. The state-owned project management consultancy said the contracts were awarded in the ordinary course of business and that the total excludes GST and marketing fees to be determined later. The awards reinforce the company's role in urban renewal in the capital and follow a stock exchange filing dated Feb 26, 2026.

The larger assignment is valued at Rs 4,377.9 mn and covers comprehensive redevelopment of DDA staff quarters at Old Rajinder Nagar, where the existing 117 dwelling units are to be redeveloped. The envisaged built-up area for that project stands at around 99,635 square metres, excluding external development, and the final area will be approved by DDA after a detailed survey and submission of a detailed project report. The second contract is worth Rs 3,374.8 mn and involves redevelopment of 152 dwelling units at Safdarjung Development Area with a proposed built-up area of approximately 65,925 square metres.

Both projects will be structured under a self-sustainable model agreed in a memorandum of understanding between NBCC and DDA, in which a portion of the developed built-up area will be sold to generate funds for project execution and the remaining area will be handed back for staff use as decided by DDA. The contracts are domestic in nature and fall under project management consultancy services, with no related party transactions involved according to the filing.

The fresh orders are expected to strengthen NBCC's urban redevelopment portfolio in Delhi by modernising ageing staff housing through structured funding mechanisms, while signalling a steady pipeline of public sector redevelopment work for the company. The filing did not specify a timeline for execution but underlined continued engagement with DDA on large scale housing renewal initiatives.
