NBCC Signs Rs 250 Billion MoU for Maharashtra Infrastructure Projects

NBCC (India) Limited has signed a Rs 250 billion memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT) to undertake consultancy, EPC, fee-based, and redevelopment projects across Maharashtra.

This strategic partnership will focus on key infrastructure initiatives, including cluster development in Thane, data centers, renewable energy projects, slum rehabilitation in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), and affordable housing under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). The projects will be executed in phases over the next three to five years.

This marks NBCC’s first major redevelopment venture in Maharashtra, following its successful urban transformation projects in Delhi. Through this collaboration, NBCC and MAHAPREIT aim to enhance project execution, improve service delivery, and contribute to sustainable urban development in line with the Government of India’s vision.
