NCC secures 3 orders worth Rs 42.06 billion

NCC announced that it has received three orders totalling Rs 42.06 billion from both Central and State government organisations in September. According to the company's regulatory filing, the water division is responsible for one order for Rs 8.19 billion, the electrical division is responsible for another order worth Rs 1.73 billion, and the transportation division is responsible for the third order worth Rs 32.13 billion. According to the filing, NCC's portion of the Rs 63.01 billion order that J Kumar-NCC Joint Venture received from the Mumbai Municipal Corporation is Rs 32.13 billion. The joint venture between J Kumar and NCC is owned by NCC to the tune of 51%. According to the firm, these directives are obtained from State and Central government authorities and do not include any internal orders. The NCC has increased its footprint in a number of infrastructure development and construction industries. Construction projects from the company's portfolio include projects for buildings, transportation, water and the environment, electrical transmission and distribution, irrigation, mining and railroads.
