NCRTC and DMRC Collaborate on Unified QR Ticketing System

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch a unified QR ticketing system. This new system aims to streamline the ticketing process for passengers travelling across different modes of transport in the Delhi-NCR region.

The integrated QR ticketing system will enable commuters to use a single QR code for travel on both NCRTC and DMRC networks. This innovation is expected to simplify fare collection, reduce wait times, and improve the overall travel experience for users.

Under the agreement, NCRTC and DMRC will collaborate on technology integration and system upgrades to support the new ticketing method. The initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance public transportation infrastructure and provide a seamless travel experience in the National Capital Region.

The implementation of the QR ticketing system reflects a commitment to modernising urban transport and addressing the needs of a growing number of passengers in the region.
