However, it also notes that India must harness advanced technologies and production capabilities similar to those established by China in the EV sector. China excels in producing lithium-ion batteries, electric motors, and comprehensive charging infrastructure, essential for the effective deployment of EVs.

To overcome the challenges posed by China's dominance, collaboration with Chinese companies could be crucial for enhancing India's EV infrastructure. The survey suggests that leveraging China's experience in large-scale EV projects, including city-wide electric bus fleets and extensive charging networks, can provide valuable insights and strategies for India.
