Nizhny Novgorod is set to host the central celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry. The festivities will begin on 20 August 2025 with the “Era of Dreamers” gala event, a large-scale concert directed by Igor Krutoy. The performance, blending music and theatrical elements, will be staged at the city’s main stadium and is expected to draw around 30,000 spectators, including a significant number of industry employees.

The concert will feature well-known artists and conclude with a special performance of the composition Era of Dreamers, accompanied by soloists from the Bolshoi Theater. The event is organised in partnership with VTB Group.

From 21 August, the Packhouses cultural center will host the scientific and artistic exhibition Atom. Future. The exhibition showcases the possibilities of nuclear science and technology through the combined efforts of artists, scientists, architects, and multimedia specialists. Visitors will encounter art installations, large-scale mock-ups of nuclear icebreakers, power units, and space rockets, as well as advanced devices such as a bioprinter and a Mars mission spacesuit. The display also highlights existing innovations that are shaping future applications of nuclear technologies.
