Nuuk Partners Zetwerk to Boost Make in India Manufacturing

Nuuk, a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer home appliance brand, has entered into a multi-year strategic manufacturing partnership with Zetwerk to strengthen its Make in India manufacturing ecosystem. The collaboration is aimed at developing scalable, high-quality and cost-competitive production capabilities as the company expands its product portfolio.

As part of the partnership, Sanjiv Rangrass, Non-Executive Independent Director at Zetwerk, has been appointed as Nuuk’s Make-in-India Advisor. The appointment is expected to bring strategic manufacturing expertise to support the brand’s localisation and industrial expansion plans.

The alliance forms part of Nuuk’s broader strategy to work closely with manufacturing partners in India to build a resilient and globally competitive production base. The company aims to combine product design, technology and manufacturing efficiency to deliver consumer appliances that meet international standards of quality and performance.

Zetwerk will support Nuuk as a manufacturing partner across select appliance categories such as fans, heaters and related products. The collaboration will focus on progressive localisation, scalable production systems and long-term manufacturing capacity development.

Both companies plan to implement a phased roadmap that includes collaborative product development, pilot manufacturing programmes and the establishment of advanced testing and reliability facilities. These initiatives are expected to help create a strong foundation for quality-driven appliance production in India.

The partnership also aligns with the growing focus on strengthening domestic manufacturing under India’s Make in India initiative. By building deeper manufacturing capabilities within the country, Nuuk aims to transition from a product-led brand to one supported by robust industrial infrastructure and scalable production processes.

Through this approach, the company seeks to expand its footprint across key appliance categories while contributing to the development of globally competitive consumer manufacturing from India.
