Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL) has secured an engineering, procurement and construction contract from Shreyam Manek Agro Products Pvt. Ltd for an integrated compressed bio-gas and biofertiliser facility in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. The facility is designed to produce 10 tonne (t) per day of compressed bio-gas using agricultural feedstock and will form part of a larger integrated gaushala. Under the scope ORSL will undertake equity participation and complete end-to-end EPC execution including detailed engineering, technology integration, supply of critical equipment, construction, installation and commissioning.

The order is one of 10 similar integrated projects planned across Madhya Pradesh with a total outlay of five to six billion (bn) Rs over a three year period. The company described the project as a strategic collaboration intended to scale agri-energy infrastructure and bolster circular economy solutions in regional agri-supply chains. The project is expected to strengthen regional resource efficiency and promote sustainable practices while supporting the broader energy transition.

ORSL said the facility will convert organic residues into renewable energy and biofertiliser, creating a local supply of bio-based products and operational employment in the region.
