Persistent Reshuffles Leadership to Boost Tech Growth

Persistent Systems, a global leader in digital engineering and enterprise modernisation, has announced key leadership changes aimed at strengthening its growth strategy and operational execution. Dhanashree Bhat, the current Chief Operating Officer, will step down from her role effective 11 August 2025 to pursue external opportunities.
In her place, Jaideep Dhok will be elevated to Chief Operating Officer – Technology, effective 12 August 2025. This move underscores the company's succession planning, focus on AI-driven transformation, and its commitment to seamless execution.
Jaideep, who previously served as Senior Vice President – Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), brings over 23 years of industry experience. At Persistent for more than 14 years, he has led major transformation initiatives, expanded business lines, and played a key role in shaping the company's AI strategy. Currently heading the APAC region, Jaideep will now also oversee delivery excellence, talent acquisition and management, learning and development, along with alliances and partnerships.
Persistent also announced that its Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, Vinit Teredesai, will assume additional responsibilities for IT and ESG. He already oversees corporate finance, treasury, financial reporting, taxation, enterprise risk management, and investor relations.
Sandeep Kalra, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Persistent, expressed gratitude to Dhanashree Bhat for her contributions to the company’s operational and people-centric growth. He welcomed Jaideep into his new role, stating that his strong technology background and business insight will support Persistent's platform-led, AI-first growth trajectory.
