PHOMI Showcases Breakthrough Materials at 2025 Guangzhou Design Week

The 2025 edition of Guangzhou Design Week opened on December 5, drawing global design leaders and spotlighting the latest advances in material innovation. PHOMI Holdings emerged as one of the most notable exhibitors, unveiling a series of technology-driven products aimed at redefining architectural aesthetics and sustainable living.
At the centre of its showcase was the fourth generation of its low-carbon surface material, eCovering 4.0. The upgraded version incorporates digital quality control, improved close-fit installation, and enhanced fire-safety capabilities, offering a notable boost in performance, safety and long-term cost efficiency. The company also introduced a four-metre ultra-long panel that achieves a seamless “one-panel ceiling” effect suited for premium commercial environments. Adding to the lineup was the application of econicaly technology to flooring for the first time through its new eCovering floor tiles, presenting a safer and more contemporary option for interior projects. The refreshed eDisplay Curtain also made its debut, featuring a distinctive design and improved functionality that broadens the scope for interactive, AI-enabled architectural applications.
PHOMI’s innovations have consistently earned global acclaim. Technologies featured in its eCovering and eDisplay series have previously won major honours, including the 112th Paris International Invention Award, the 9th Asian International Innovation and Invention Gold Award, and the Gold Award at the 76th International Exhibition of Inventions in Nuremberg. These recognitions reaffirm the company’s leadership in material science and design technology.
The opening day attracted significant footfall to PHOMI’s booth, with engineers, designers, brand owners and distributors exploring its latest developments. Media outlets from China and overseas also covered the showcase. A company representative said PHOMI aims to advance the future of construction through material science, blending functionality, aesthetics and sustainability. The firm hopes to collaborate with global partners through the Design Week to explore new possibilities for environmentally responsible living.
