Ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gayaji district on 22 August to launch several projects and address a public rally, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced.
Choudhary, who also holds the finance portfolio, recently visited Gayaji to review preparations. In a post on X, he wrote: “Bringing the gift of development, Modi ji is coming to Bihar again. The PM is arriving on 22 August in Gayaji.”
During the visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth about Rs 12 billion, including Bihar’s first six-lane bridge over the Ganga river.
Choudhary urged residents to attend the rally and listen to what he called “the country’s most popular leader.”
Since April, Modi has made several visits to Bihar, including stops in Motihari, Siwan, Madhubani and Patna, underscoring the state’s importance ahead of the elections scheduled later this year.
