SAIL And MDI Sign MoU For Executive Education Programmes
Under the collaboration, the partners will deliver customised leadership programmes, strategy and innovation driven learning interventions and action learning aimed at measurable business impact. The programme suite will include overseas learning programmes, joint research and consulting assignments and case studies tailored for SAIL executives to link theory and practice. Emphasis will be on translating classroom content into operational improvements and on capability building across managerial cohorts.
The memorandum was executed by Sanjay Dhar, executive director responsible for human resources learning and development at MTI, and Professor Sumita Rai, dean for industry connect at MDI, in the presence of K. K. Singh, director responsible for personnel at SAIL, and other senior executives from both organisations. Officials outlined a shared intent to strengthen organisational capability while aligning with global best practices. Administrative and academic coordination mechanisms were agreed to manage delivery.
The collaboration is positioned to support succession planning and to deepen strategic leadership skills within the company without altering existing governance structures. MTI will provide domain familiarity within SAIL while MDI will contribute academic design and industry exposure to programmes. Joint monitoring and evaluation provisions will track learning outcomes and business impact and inform iterative improvements to curriculum and delivery.
