Schaeffler India has expanded its industrial offerings by introducing locally manufactured large-size Spherical Roller Bearings (SRBs), cast steel housings, and related accessories. These products are manufactured at the company’s Savli facility in Gujarat as part of its ongoing localisation drive.

Targeting applications in steel, cement, mining, power plants, and pulp & paper industries, the new product line includes SRBs with outer diameters up to 720 mm across series 222, 223, 230, 231, 240, and 241. Produced with X-life quality standards, these bearings provide improved performance, extended service life, and reduced friction.

Along with bearings, Schaeffler has also introduced cast steel housings and adapter, withdrawal, and hydraulic sleeves. These are designed for strength and durability under demanding conditions and are equipped with features such as advanced sealing, internal lubrication grooves, and sensor mounting provisions.
